IF I said, "Art is everywhere in our life," do you agree with me? How about creativity is everywhere in our life?

When we did something that different from what we taught since we are small, it's will become one of the creativity. Do you agree with me?

I love to paint my nails, it's slowly become one of my hobby when i graduated from secondary school. Why since secondary school? It's because, we are out from the school's rules which cannot paint nails and nails must looks short.

Nails are art clock for me. I can paint and draw anythings i like on the nails. I can paint different color and design for each nails instead of the same color,same design.

Where did I get the idea for the design? I get inspired for many things in my life and i will get reference from others people design. I will try to draw my nails when I get inspired. Inspiration of nails art can get in any place, any time and anywhere.

When I slowly painting the base color of my nails, I will get the idea on the next step. Creativity comes with practice, comes with experience. If you did not work for it, but just wait for it, you will find the hard way to get the inspiration, creativity, and results.

custom cake

Did you heard about custom cake before? Custom cake is called as design cake, which means you can design and decide the pattern you like for your cake. If you like hello kitty, then you can ask for hello kitty design for your cake.

This custom cake has two categories which is icing custom cake and cream custom cake.

Last month, My friends and I had decide to order a custom cake for one of my friend's birthday. I did some research of the cake and found out this custom cake only serve for niche market. However, Malaysia got many bakery shop provide this service.

We decide to order a car design cake for her. This is the cake.

What inspire us to choose this design? Is her favourite. She like about car and green color. So, i decide to order a green color car with her name BUBU as the car plate.

She was so surprise when she saw the cake. A special design cake had lighting the birthday girl's party.

A custom cake not only bring surprise to all the birthday boy or girl but also bring surprise to other people. A little creativity will bring a big different for your life, surprise will lighting the a normal life.

Graffiti

Did you watch Step Up Revolution before? If you shake your head, please get your 1 hour 40 minutes to enjoy this movie. This movie is talk about flash mobs and how they use dance to protect their homeland. In this movie, you can found a graffiti artist enjoying his art while all the dancers having their flash mob. When the dance ends, the dancers will run away and the graffiti artist will leave a graffiti sign that says,"The Mob".

He used spray painting, lighting,  forks and knives, and etc to create a " The Mob" display in a limited time. His creativity is one of the highlight in the movie. Everyone remember the dances and also his amazing art works. 

His creativity had inspired me that, anythings in our life can be a part of the art, if you want to try. If you don't want to try, how you do you know that forks and knives cannot be a great sculpture?

TRY, is a very important step for everyone. If you scared of trying, you will never know the result. It just like the first day we try to learn how to walk. If we scared of falling down, we will never have the chance to walk or run.

If the graffiti artist never try on using forks and knives, he will never know that it can be an amazing sculptures. Try is important for art and our life. Never try, never know.
I guess I need find some times to try on the graffiti art .=) 

star

Twinkle, twinkle little star. How i wonder what you are~ I think most of us heard about this song when we still are the little kids. It is one of our childhood memory, and also one of my favourite childhood's song.

This song had inspire me on my final assignment of creative thinking and idea generation which is produce a "cube" that represent yourself. When i start thinking about this assignment, the first thing pop out on my mind is, i want to be different. I don't hope get the same idea with others because it show the not special on mine. I want to be the unique.

When i was squeezing my brain, actually is day dreaming at a cafe, i heard a little girl singing twinkle twinkle little star and shaking her body in front of her parents. Her voice was catching my mind at that moment.

Since my "cube" need at least 5 characteristic, and star is a pentagon. So, i decide to use star shape as my model. I did some research on how to made a 3D star and i found out that it is not easy as folding a star.

Folding a star, the material we need is only a paper stripes and the time for it is less than  1 minutes. It was easier than made a 3D star. Based on the research i had done, I need to measure every single of the star and cut it carefully and nicely. If there are any mistake on it, I need to redo everything.

It sound like a very challenger assignment for me. I hope i can really produce it out perfectly.

Roti Hawaii

Spider Web on the food? What is your mind when you heard about it? Disgusting? Or interesting? For me, it sound interesting. Why i think is interesting? The spider web is not the real spider that produce by the spider by made by mayonnaise.

Did you try the Murni's roti hawaii before? On the top of the roti hawaii was decorated by the mayonnaise with spider web design. It look attractive to the kids, they will feel curious about the ingredients inside the roti hawaii. The curiosity will attract the children to consume the food.

Attract children to consume new food is a challenge for every parents. If there are some art on the food, it will attract them to try the food. 

Roti Hawaii had inspire me when i want attract kids on trying new things, you can try to use art and design. It was easiest way to attract kids to do something, because kids have a curious heart.

storybook

Owh,is the time for me to produce a blog post! Seriously, i got no idea what to write because i was rushing for all the assignment in this week. I was stick my body on my lovely floor for one whole day until midnight just to finish my storybook. Thanks to my group members, they were sticking on my house's floor with me as well.

Non stop of painting, cutting, sticking cause my hand and brain could not work for anythings at all. I have no idea how to continue to produce the book. I had google for many ways for binding a book and search for all the books i had.

But, I don't dare to made it. I worry I will destroy everything. While staring on my books that made by me when I was 18, I get some idea from it. It is the best way to reduce the fail percentage during binding process.

The books I did when I was 18 is a photo album that called memories. Inside are all the memories of my secondary school life. How I spend my time with all the classmates, friends and teachers. These are those days I cant walk back, but only recall.

So I hope I can recall back my university life when I am old, I decided to use the same way to produce my storybook.

I stick all the single pages together with double cellophane tape, to made a book with cover. Next i wrap the 2 hard cover paper with a yellow color paper, of course i do the measurement as well. I want a perfect book, and i can't destroy any single pages of it because I got no time to redo. So, i try it by the cellophane tape, to make sure there are no mistake before i stick with the double cellophane tape.

After 3 hours hard works, i had done my storybook! 

This Is not a food

Yes! This is not food, this is iclay product. All my friend's impression on my clay product is, can I eat ?

Does it look tasty ?
Does it look real?
Does it catch your eyes?

Why does the cake catch your eyes?
Why does it look real on picture?

Because...
I did research before I start the clay. I find a lot of picture about the cake and try my best to make it real.

The average size for all "cake" is about 2cm, tiny size of cake show the adorable view of it. I also apply different color of clay to made it more colorful and attractive.
